Every financial forum has the same problem: a confident stranger and no way to tell whether they are describing something they did or something they imagined.
In Pocket, a post is one of two things and it says which. A view is somebody's opinion, marked as opinion. A verified trade means Pocket checked its own records and a matching holding actually exists on that person's connected account. Not that they claimed it. That it is there.
Verification is a claim about our records, not an endorsement of the trade.
Somebody can hold a position and still be wrong about it. The badge means the holding is real; it says nothing about whether buying it was sensible. Pocket does not rank people by returns, does not run leaderboards, and does not let anybody sell a signal.3

Eleven restaurant charges in a fortnight is a fact about your month, and it is already in your data. Pocket will point at it — the pattern, the frequency, the rhythm of it — because that is genuinely visible in a bank statement.
Where you choose to connect a fitness tracker, activity sits alongside it, and the two are shown together without either being blamed for the other.
What Pocket
will not guess
It will not infer a calorie count from a restaurant bill. A payment carries an amount and a merchant — not a dish, not a portion, not who else was at the table. $60 at a restaurant is four people sharing or one person eating lightly and drinking well, and no amount of modelling recovers which.
An app that prints a number there is inventing it. Pocket would rather show you the eleven charges and let you draw the conclusion, because the eleven charges are true.
